Each Month  Monthly Meeting
 Usually the first Thursday of every month. Due to OSH, the August meeting is usually delayed to 2nd Thur. Check this calendar or the EAA62 newsletter for details.

The offical part of the meeting starts 7:30pm in the Victory Aero hangar, hangar-flying and hot dogs from 6:30-7:30pm. Be sure to check the events calendar for changes.

Jul 26 - Aug 1  EAA Air-Venture Oshkosh

Aug 7 - Aug 8  Moffett Airshow cancelled
 The previously announced Moffett airshow with the Thunderbirds has been called off.

Aug 7 - Aug 8  Annual Willits Airport Day
 
Mark your aviation calendars for Saturday August 7th and Sunday, August 8th for the 19th Annual Willits Airport Day and Skunk Train Fly In. Fly in Saturday, ride the Skunk Train, stay at the Baechtel Creek Inn and Spa, or fly in Sunday for a morning Skunk Train ride, then attend the afternoon Airport Day festivities, food, displays, awards, and lot of fun. Sep 2  General Meeting--Doug Henson

Program Doug Henson will bring is Falco and talk about building an Oshkosh Grand Champion aircraft.

Sep 3 - Sep 5  Watsonville Fly-in and Airshow
 The traditional Memorial Day event has been moved to Labor Day. Let's hope there is less fog. Details at http://www.watsonvilleflyin.org/

Sep 10  Corvair College # 18 at Livermore in early September (Provisional Announcement)

F.L.A.G. is owned by Kitplanes Contributing Editor, Rick Lindstrom. The Corvair Authority, William Wynne will be in attendance.

Corvair cores will be available to purchase, to start building your own flight Corvair engine.

There will be a nominal charge to cover the cost of feeding and watering you for three days, that fee is halved for any helpers you bring along. Fee TBD

Sep 11  Palo Alto Airport Day
 The Airport Day start at 9am and closes at 4pm. Lots of things to see and do including tower tours and static aircraft displays.

Young Eagle rides announced earlier will most likely not happen due to unforeseen insurance issues.

 Night show on Friday, Air Show on Saturday and Sunday. The Snowbirds are supposed to be there. KCIC is 148nm from RHV. For details check out http://www.chicoairshow.org.

Oct 7  General Meeting -- Zeke Smith

Program: Zeke will demonstrate his technique for vacuum bagging glass/epoxy parts.

Oct 9 - Oct 10  Fleet Week
 The airshow starts 1pm each day, the Blue Angels fly at 3.

Oct 14  Chapter Board Meeting

Oct 21 - Oct 23  Copperstate

Oct 23  Young Eagles at South County
 
The final Young Eagle event of the season will be at South County airport from 10am to 2pm.
